California High School Flag Football - Pittsburg can't hold off Freedom

Freedom Falcons (Oakley, CA) followers went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team tip the host Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA), 18-12 in a league battle.

With the win, Freedom advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Falcons host Liberty (Brentwood, CA) to play the Lions in a battle on Monday, October 28. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 11-2.

The Pirates now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a battle on Monday, October 14. Pittsburg will play a Patriots team coming off a 12-7 non-league win over College Park (Pleasant Hill, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 11-1.
