In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Santa Fe Demons soccer squad scored a tight 4-0 win over the Sandia Matadors.
The Demons (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 8-1 record.
Next up, the Matadors battle the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 12. Sandia will attempt to upgrade on its 1-8 season record. The Bears enter the battle with a 12-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM).
