Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders (Englewood, NJ) and the host Ridgefield Park Scarlets (Ridgefield Park, NJ), saw Dwight Morrow's soccer squad hold off Ridgefield Park by a count of 1-0.

The Maroon Raiders (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Eastside (Paterson, NJ). The Ghosts enter the non-league battle with a 1-7 record. In their last battle, Eastside was edged by Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Scarlets battle the McNair Academic Cougars (Jersey City, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 14. Ridgefield Park will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
