The Manzano Monarchs soccer team (Albuquerque, NM), was overwhelmed 11-0 in Wednesday's league contest with the host La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM)

Next, the Bears face the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 contest, on Saturday, October 12. La Cueva will attempt to advance on its 12-2 season record. The Matadors enter the contest with a 7-8 record after their 3-2 league win over Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
