In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Indian River Braves volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Great Bridge Wildcats.

The Braves (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Nansemond River lost by Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 16. Great Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA).
