The Blue Comets (15-2) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC). The Grizzlies enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Oak Grove Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 1-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Timberwolves battle the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A battle, on Monday, October 14. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Black Knights enter the battle with a 4-12 record after their 4-0 league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC).
