Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) and the visiting Central Dragons (Martinsburg, PA), saw Bishop Guilfoyle's soccer squad hold off Central by a count of 1-0.

The Marauders (2-13) will now prepare for their battle against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA). The Bison enter the Laurel Highlands 1 battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Clearfield was edged by Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA), 4-1, in a league battle.

Next up, the Dragons battle the Cambria Heights Highlanders (Patton, PA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, October 10. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-14 season record. The Highlanders enter the battle with a 9-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Conemaugh Township (Davidsville, PA).
