The Lake-Lehman Knights edged the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Knights face the Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 1 game, on Saturday, October 12. Lake-Lehman will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Wolfpack enter the game with a 5-7 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA).
The Hawkeyes (7-10) will now prepare for their game against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA). The Warriors enter the Wyoming Valley 3 game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, Wyoming Area was nipped by Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA), 1-0, in a league game.
