New Mexico High School Soccer - La Cueva knocks off Manzano

In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting La Cueva Bears soccer squad scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Manzano Monarchs.
The Bears (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors go into the 5A District 2 outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Sandia was overwhelmed by Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM), 4-2, in a league outing.
Next up, the Monarchs play the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 outing, on Saturday, October 12. Manzano will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the outing with a 9-4 record after their 0-0 league Capital (Santa Fe, NM).
