The Smoky Mountain Mustangs soccer squad scored 3 points and held the host Pisgah Bears to 2 in the Mustangs league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they host North Henderson for a Mountain Seven 3A bout on Monday, October 14. Smoky Mountain will play a Knights squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-7.

With the loss, Pisgah moves to 6-6 on the year. The Bears host Franklin (Franklin, NC) to play the Panthers in a Mountain Seven 3A bout on Wednesday, October 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-9.
