The Smithfield-Selma Spartans smashed the visiting South Johnston Trojans soccer team by a tally of 10-1 in Wednesday's league game.

Next, the Spartans face the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) in a Quad County 3A game, on Monday, October 14. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Warriors enter the game with a 5-8 record after their 5-2 league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC).
