In Wednesday's non-league test, the Saxony Lutheran Crusaders (Jackson, MO) softball squad overwhelmed the host Central Tigers (Cape Girardeau, MO), by a tally of 6-1.

Next, the Crusaders clash with the DeSoto Dragons (DeSoto, MO) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 10. Saxony Lutheran will attempt to advance on its 9-5 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 9-13 record after their 12-2 non-league win over Jefferson (Festus, MO).

The Tigers (5-24) will now prepare for their test against Chaffee (Chaffee, MO). The Red Devils go into the non-league test with a 20-7 record. In their last test, Chaffee held off Fredericktown (Fredericktown, MO), 4-0, in a non-league test.
