In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Gordon Lee Trojans softball team scored a tight 10-4 victory over the Dade County Wolverines.

The Trojans (25-2) will now prepare for their match against LaFayette (LaFayette, GA). The Ramblers go into the non-league match with a 22-4 record. In their last match, LaFayette tipped Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 7-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors (Fort Oglethorpe, GA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 10. Dade County will attempt to better on its 22-7 season record. The Warriors go into the match with a 10-14 record after their 6-4 league loss to Ringgold (Ringgold, GA).
