In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Vidalia Indians softball team scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Swainsboro Tigers.

The Indians (13-13) will now prepare for their match against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league match with a 17-8 record. In their last match, Emanuel County Institute gained a win over Bryan County (Pembroke, GA), 9-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Savannah Christian Raiders (Savannah, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 3 match, on Thursday, October 10. Swainsboro will attempt to better on its 9-13 season record. The Raiders go into the match with a 14-11 record after their 14-3 non-league win over Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA).
