In Wednesday's league match, the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) volleyball squad overcame the host Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Prospectors battle the Chino Valley Cougars (Chino Valley, AZ) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 11. Apache Junction will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 6-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ).

The Tigers (5-12) will now prepare for their match against Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ). The Trojans enter the 3A - Central match with a 17-11 record.
