In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host Byrd Yellow Jackets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Loyola College Prep Flyers.

The Yellow Jackets (19-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Airline (Bossier City, LA). The Vikings enter the Division I District 1 challenge with a 13-13 record. In their last challenge, Airline beat Many (Many, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Flyers meet the North Caddo Titans (Vivian, LA) in a Division IV District 1 challenge, on Thursday, October 10. Loyola College Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Titans enter the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, LA).
