Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Capital Cougars (Charleston, WV), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Parkersburg advances its record to 17-14 on the season. The Big Reds host John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV) to face the Monarchs in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Monarchs go into the test with a record of 12-8. John Marshall lost 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Buckeye Trail (Lore City, OH)

The Cougars now sport a 15-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cabell Midland for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 9. Capital will face a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Morgantown (Morgantown, WV). The Knights record now stands at 27-8.
