California High School Volleyball - Scripps Ranch can't get by Coronado

October 9, 2024: San Diego, CA 92131

Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Scripps Ranch Falcons (San Diego, CA), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Coronado advances its record to 30-3 on the season. The Islanders host Montgomery (San Diego, CA) to face the Aztecs in a non-league test on Thursday, October 10. The Aztecs go into the test with a record of 5-24. Montgomery won 3-2 in their recent league test against Sweetwater (National City, CA)

The Falcons now sport a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Henry for a City - Eastern test on Friday, October 11. Scripps Ranch will face a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to University City (San Diego, CA). The Patriots record now stands at 16-13.
