The Mechanicsburg Wildcats (Mechanicsburg, PA) volleyball knocked off the host Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA), 3-1 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Northern York for a non-league bout on Monday, October 14.

With the loss, Cumberland Valley drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Unionville (Kennett Square, PA) to clash with the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Friday, October 11. The Longhorns come into the bout with a record of 13-2.
