Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC) and the visiting Fairfield Central Griffins (Winnsboro, SC), observed Mid-Carolina's volleyball team top Fairfield Central by a tally of 3-0.

The Rebels (15-7) will now prepare for their contest against Eau Claire (Columbia, SC). The Shamrocks enter the AA Region 2 contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Eau Claire was beaten by Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC), 3-2, in a league contest.

Next, the Griffins meet the Columbia Capitals (Columbia, SC) in a AA Region 2 contest, on Thursday, October 10. Fairfield Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Capitals enter the contest with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, SC).
