The Middletown North Lions edged the host Freehold Boro Colonials volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Lions face the Wall Township Crimson Knights (Wall, NJ) in a Shore B - North game, on Thursday, October 10. Middletown North will attempt to advance on its 2-14 season record. The Crimson Knights go into the game with a 10-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Trinity Hall (Tinton Falls, NJ).
The Colonials (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ). The Cougars go into the non-league game with a 8-8 record. In their last game, Colts Neck nudged Long Branch (Long Branch, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league game.
