In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Gilford Golden Eagles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Winnisquam Bears.
The Golden Eagles (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Plymouth (Plymouth, NH). The Bobcats enter the Division II challenge with a 5-6 record.
Next, the Bears meet the Manchester West Blue Knights (Manchester, NH) in a Division II challenge, on Friday, October 11. Winnisquam will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Blue Knights enter the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Laconia (Laconia, NH).
