Lawrence County Bulldogs (Louisa, KY) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Martin County Cardinals (Inez, KY), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lawrence County improves its record to 10-11 on the season. The Bulldogs host West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Monday, October 14. The Comets go into the test with a record of 11-9. West Carter lost 3-2 in their recent non-league test against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY)

The Cardinals now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magoffin County for a District 57 test on Thursday, October 10. Martin County will face a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pike County Central (Pikeville, KY). The Hornets record now stands at 2-13.
