Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the West St. John Rams (Edgard, LA) and the visiting New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs (New Orleans, LA), observed West St. John's volleyball team top New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy by a tally of 3-0.

The Rams (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, East St. John was beaten by McDonogh 35 (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Bulldogs meet the Belle Chasse Cardinals (Belle Chasse, LA) in a Division II District 8 contest, on Thursday, October 10. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 17-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over De La Salle (New Orleans, LA).
