West Virginia High School Volleyball - PikeView can't hold off Nicholas County

October 9, 2024: Princeton, WV 24740

In Wednesday's league outing, the Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV) volleyball team held off the host PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), by a margin of 3-2.

The Grizzlies now possess a 13-19 record. They play next when they travel to Wayne for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. Nicholas County will play a Pioneers team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Pioneers record now stands at 13-12.

With the loss, PikeView drops to 0-17 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to River View (Bradshaw, WV) to play the Raiders in a non-league outing on Saturday, October 12. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 9-14. River View won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV)
