California High School Volleyball - Ventura over Rio Mesa

In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Ventura Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Rio Mesa Spartans.
The Cougars (14-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Pacifica (Oxnard, CA). The Tritons come into the Channel challenge with a 8-18 record. In their last challenge, Pacifica lost by San Marcos (Santa Barbara, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Spartans play the Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) in a Channel challenge, on Monday, October 14. Rio Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 9-17 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 17-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Saugus (Saugus, CA).
