    King Panthers (Houston, TX) followers went home pleased Thursday as they saw their football team gain a win over the host Summer Creek Bulldogs (Houston, TX), 42-28 in a league match.

    The Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Humble (Humble, TX). The Wildcats come into the 6A Region III District 23 match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Humble was beaten by Atascocita (Humble, TX), 34-3, in a league match.

    Coming up next, the Bulldogs meet the Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) in a 6A Region III District 23 match, on Saturday, October 18. Summer Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots come into the match with a 3-3 record after their 76-15 league loss to North Shore (Houston, TX).
