Mahpiya Luta Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team overwhelm the visiting Lower Brule Sioux (Lower Brule, SD), 68-32 in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders play the Crazy Horse Chiefs (Wanblee, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 16. Mahpiya Luta will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Chiefs go into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 62-8 league loss to Marty Indian (Marty, SD).

The Sioux (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Tiospa Zina (Agency Village, SD). The Wambdi go into the All-Nations - B (9 Man) challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Tiospa Zina bounced Flandreau Indian (Flandreau, SD), 46-12, in a league challenge.
