Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Althoff Catholic Crusaders (Belleville, IL) and the visiting Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL), observed Althoff Catholic's volleyball team top Metro-East Lutheran by a tally of 2-0.

The Crusaders (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Mascoutah achieved victory over Jersey (Jerseyville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league test.

The Knights now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunker Hill for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 21. Metro-East Lutheran will encounter a Minutemen squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dupo (Dupo, IL). The Minutemen record now stands at 2-0.
