The Sandia Matadors volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Capital Jaguars to 0 in the Matadors non-league triumph on Thursday.
Next up, the Matadors confront the Manzano Monarchs (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 14. Sandia will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Monarchs enter the game with a 0-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, NM).
The Jaguars (5-5) will now prepare for their game against La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Bears enter the non-league game with a 8-3 record. In their last game, La Cueva defeated Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 2-0, in a non-league outing.
