The Merced Bears flag football squad scored 43 points and limited the host Golden Valley Cougars to 0 in the Bears league triumph on Thursday.
The Bears now sport a 20-3 record. They take the field next when they host Atwater for a Central California Conference test on Tuesday, October 14. Merced will clash with a Falcons squad coming off a 14-13 league win over El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 15-4.
