St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team overwhelm the host Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 15-0 in a league outing.

The Sartans (11-4) will now prepare for their outing against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets go into the 4A District 5 outing with a 10-4 record.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Highland Hornets (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 5 outing, on Tuesday, October 14. Belen will attempt to improve on its 3-12 season record.
