In Thursday's non-league contest, the West Panthers (Salt Lake City, UT) soccer team edged the host Cyprus Pirates (Magna, UT), by a margin of 1-0.
The Panthers now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Kearns for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 14. West will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Cougars record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Cyprus moves to 9-8 on the year.
