In Thursday's league outing, the host Fairview Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the General McLane Lancers.

The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA). The Ramblers enter the District 10 Region 4 outing with a 13-2 record. In their last outing, Cathedral Prep Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA), 1-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Lancers confront the Fort LeBoeuf Bison (Waterford, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 test, on Monday, October 13. General McLane will attempt to move on its 10-6 season record. The Bison come into the test with a 9-4 record after their 1-1 league Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA).
