Heritage Hills Patriots (Lincoln City, IN) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Heritage Hills improves its record to 13-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Evansville Mater Dei (Evansville, IN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 11. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Evansville Mater Dei won 9-0 in their recent non-league bout against Evansville Bosse (Evansville, IN)

With the loss, Mt. Vernon moves to 9-8 on the year.
