In Thursday's non-league contest, the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) soccer team routed the host Rio Grande Ravens (Albuquerque, NM), by a tally of 10-0.
Next, the Eagles face the Roswell Coyotes (Roswell, NM) in a 5A District 4 contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Hobbs will attempt to advance on its 14-3 season record. The Coyotes go into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 1-0 league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM).
With the loss, Rio Grande moves to 3-12 on the year. The Ravens travel to Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM) to encounter the Tigers in a 5A District 5 challenge on Saturday, October 11. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 7-7.
