Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Truckee Wolverines (Truckee, CA) and the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw Truckee's soccer squad triumph over Sparks by a score of 9-0.

The Wolverines (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Tahoe (Tahoe City, CA). The Lakers come into the 3A Northern - West test with a 9-1 record. In their last test, North Tahoe achieved victory over Sparks (Sparks, NV), 11-0, in a league test.

The Railroaders now sport a 0-11 record. They take the field next when they host Debbie Smith CTE Academy for a 3A Northern - West test on Saturday, October 11. Sparks will clash with a Mavericks squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 1-9.
