The St. Pius X Sartans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Grants Pirates to 0 in the Sartans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Sartans now possess a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 11. St. Pius X will play a Hilltoppers team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 4-4.
The Pirates (10-4) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 0-6 record.
