In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Menlo-Atherton Bears volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hillsdale Fighting Knights.

The Bears (11-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlmont (Belmont, CA). The Scots come into the challenge with a 12-4 record. In their last challenge, Carlmont beat Burlingame (Burlingame, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Fighting Knights play the Half Moon Bay Cougars (Half Moon Bay, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 14. Hillsdale will attempt to advance on its 14-7 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 9-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Aragon (San Mateo, CA).
