Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) and the visiting Frankfort Falcons (Ridgeley, WV), saw Hampshire's soccer squad hold off Frankfort by a count of 1-0.

The Trojans (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Elkins (Elkins, WV). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 11-2 record. In their last battle, Elkins tipped Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV), 2-0, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 16. Frankfort will attempt to move on its 10-4 season record.
