The Vikings now hold a 9-8 record. They play next when they host Keystone Oaks for a non-league bout on Monday, October 13. Hopewell will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Mohawk Area moves to 2-16 on the year. The Warriors travel to Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA) to play the Wolverine in a WPIAL AA 4 bout on Saturday, October 11. The Wolverine go into the bout with a record of 0-16. Ellwood City lost 11-0 in their recent league bout against Quaker Valley (Leetsdale, PA)
