The Mt. Zion Braves (Mt. Zion, IL) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL), 4-0 in Thursday's league battle.
The Braves (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mattoon (Mattoon, IL). The Greenwave enter the Apollo battle with a 13-6 record. In their last battle, Mattoon tipped Taylorville (Taylorville, IL), 9-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 13. Mahomet-Seymour will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Ironmen enter the battle with a 13-3 record after their 1-1 non-league Glenwood (Chatham, IL).
