In Thursday's league test, the visiting Tulelake Honkers soccer team scored a close 5-3 victory over the Modoc Braves.

The Honkers (16-4) will now prepare for their outing against Mt. Shasta (Mt. Shasta, CA). The Bears go into the Shasta Cascade outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Mt. Shasta got by Weed (Weed, CA), 4-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Braves play the Etna Lions (Etna, CA) in a Shasta Cascade outing, on Saturday, October 11. Modoc will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Lions go into the outing with a 0-10 record after their 6-0 league loss to Butte Valley (Dorris, CA).
