In Thursday's league outing, the visiting Mt. Pleasant Vikings soccer team scored a close 3-1 triumph over the Southmoreland Scotties.

With the triumph, Mt. Pleasant moves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Vikings host Charleroi (Charleroi, PA) to clash with the Cougars in a WPIAL AA 4 test on Tuesday, October 14.
