Abington Green Wave (Abington, MA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Middleborough Sachems (Middleborough, MA), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Green Wave (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Carver (Carver, MA). The Crusaders come into the South Shore challenge with a 13-2 record. In their last challenge, Carver beat Calvary Chapel Academy (Rockland, MA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sachems meet the Apponequet Regional Lakers (Lakeville, MA) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 13. Middleborough will attempt to advance on its 1-12 season record. The Lakers go into the test with a 4-12 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Bristol-Plymouth RVT (Taunton, MA).
