Indiana High School Volleyball - Speedway over Beech Grove

October 9, 2025: Speedway, IN 46224

Fans at Thursday's league test between the Speedway Sparkplugs (Speedway, IN) and the visiting Beech Grove Hornets (Beech Grove, IN), saw Speedway's volleyball squad achieve victory over Beech Grove by a score of 3-1.

With the win, Speedway improves its record to 6-18 on the season. The Sparkplugs travel to Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN) to face the Mounties in a non-league test on Saturday, October 11. The Mounties go into the test with a record of 8-14. Southmont lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN)

The Hornets now own a 2-26 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Palestine for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. Beech Grove will meet a Dragons team coming off a 3-2 league win over Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Dragons record now stands at 26-4.
