The Somerset Eagles topped the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA) in a Laurel Highlands 2 outing, on Monday, October 13. Somerset will attempt to better on its 22-5 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the outing with a 10-11 record after their 3-2 league loss to Bishop Carroll (Ebensburg, PA).

With the loss, Bishop McCort drops to 9-16 on the campaign. The Crushers host Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to play the Lions in a Laurel Highlands 2 game on Monday, October 13. The Lions enter the game with a record of 6-18. Chestnut Ridge lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA)
