New Auburn Trojans (New Auburn, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Bruce Red Raiders (Bruce, WI), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Trojans (15-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Cornell (Cornell, WI). The Chiefs come into the Lakeland - East outing with a 3-9 record. In their last outing, Cornell lost by Flambeau (Tony, WI), 3-0, in a league outing.

With the loss, Bruce drops to 4-15 on the campaign. The Red raiders host Birchwood (Birchwood, WI) to confront the Bobcats in a Lakeland - East game on Monday, October 13. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 0-18. Birchwood lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Winter (Winter, WI)
