Virginia High School Volleyball - Lafayette tips Bruton

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) and the host Bruton Panthers (Williamsburg, VA), observed Lafayette's volleyball team hold off Bruton by a count of 3-2.
The Rams (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Poquoson (Poquoson, VA). The Islanders enter the Bay Rivers contest with a 10-4 record. In their last contest, Poquoson was tipped by Grafton (Yorktown, VA), 3-0, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers encounter the Jamestown Eagles (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 13. Bruton will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Warhill (Williamsburg, VA).
