In Thursday's league match, the Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 10. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Blue Thunder enter the match with a 13-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
